Ahh, you heard about all that? You really want to know how I built this place even with my Royal Netherworld Blood, and the story behind why they call me the Baked Buddhist? Well, do I have a story to tell you… My father is a Netherworld Prince, and I got my mischievous and rebellious nature straight from him! He’d run off and hang out on the mortal plane all the time. And the tales he’s told me of the trouble he got up to, haha… Well, if you’re going to ask for a Prince of the Netherworld’s secrets, you know you’ve got to have something valuable to trade for them. Or your soul… But, I don’t trade in those, so you’ll have to take it up with my pops directly. Anyway, he was exploring, met my mother, and fell in love. From that, came me, the most stunningly beautiful and strikingly humble half demon you’ve ever met! …JK, JK. But back to the story. The main issue was that it was forbidden for demons and other races to have kids. Luckily, Grandpa forgave him, so we all got to live happily, ‘if illegally’ ever after! After all, dad was a fair bit past his prime, and Granbus was just happy he finally got hitched and had a kid. Yes, Granbus. He’s my Grandpa, and also an Incubus, so I call him Granbus. But, I can only get away with it because I’m cute. Don’t let him hear you call him that, just to warn you. Anyways, I’m a taboo mixed blood without a royal title, so I’m technically not even a princess. But everyone at the palace treats me like I am, so it’s cool. When I was 12, they figured out I had a knack for Divination, Fortune Telling, whatever you wanna call it. So, at the young age of 12, I got my first job as a Royal Adviser for Granbus! Giving advice about the future, and helping him figure out his next steps in running the realm or his personal life and pretty much anyone else who asked. I've always had a knack for helping people figure out their issues . All my great guidance I give you guys has gotta come from somewhere right? . It give me an official excuse to have the kitchens make and deliver me freshly churned ice cream to help my “Vision Mojo” work. I was 12, and I’m sticking to that excuse. Do I still scarf some down every nigh after dinner ? To that i will say I admit nothing and deny everything . But after a while, I decided to follow in dad’s footsteps and go on fun adventures here. So, I traveled the oceans to visit all the beautiful beaches and made some excellent friends! And I’d noticed that they enjoyed smoking this strange plant that made them happy, and silly, and fueled their imagination for hours… After a while, I asked to try it, and I’ve never stopped since then. They just call it weed, but ever since I heard some old prude call it “The Devils Lettuce” I loved the name so much that I rarely call it anything else. I think they even bred a strain and named it that after me. I was touched when I heard that, honestly. But, I still had that traveling itch, so I kept going. I found new hobbies like Anime, Manga, Video Games, and exploring religious and spiritual philosophy. So, I stuck to Buddhism and Taoism and started teaching them back home with my friends. When I told my smoking buddies, they said “So, you’re, like, a Baked Buddhist…” And now that’s my nickname, and I’ll never regret it. It suits me well, after all. But eventually, Granbus noticed I spent all my time here, and only came home when he summoned me for work. So he asked me if I wanted to just live here and visit them on occasion, Netherworld holidays and birthdays and such. And of course, I said yes! As much as I love Granbus and everyone at the palace, I feel this is where I truly belong. So, I wanted to have a place to hang out with my friends, and find new ones. So I built the Turtle Power Tavern here, the gnarliest EDM Lounge this side of the pond. So, welcome to my home. The place where I spend the happiest days of my life with the people who matter to me.
